Hi friends!
Earlier in the week I spoke about a launch that was truly exciting – read: Lisa Eldridge giving us all the nude lipstick goodness we could ever want. But now it’s time to talk about some new or upcoming launches that aren’t getting me so excited. Yes, it’s time for my beauty anti-wishlist November 2019 edition!
If you’re new to the blog, every month I gather up five new launches that I will not be spending my money on, and I tell you why. Everything is based on personal preference here, and of course no disrespect is intended. If you already have or want any of these products, you do you! But I just don’t want ‘em. Now let’s get into it!
But first, make sure you catch up on my last few anti-wishlists.

TATI BEAUTY TEXTURED NEUTRALS PALETTE VOL. I
Source: Tati Beauty/Instagram
I’m going to get the beauty influencer palettes out of the way first. First up is the Tati Beauty Textured Neutrals Vol. 1. Everyone is losing their damn minds over this one, and in all fairness I’ve honestly seen nothing but good reviews. It looks absolutely gorgeous, and I’m sure I would love it. But you know what? I. DON’T. NEED. IT! I have sooo many eyeshadows already that I have to stop myself somewhere, you know? The overall concept of the palette seems very clever though – 6 color stories in 4 different textures (matte, sequin, metallic, glitter).
The first drop sold out really quickly (no surprise), so if you still want it you’ll have to wait for the December restock. Click here for more information on the palette and ordering.
JEFFREE STAR COSMETICS SHANE X JEFFREE CONSPIRACY PALETTES

And for the second influencer palette, we have the also-mega-hyped, also-sold-out Conspiracy Collection from Shane Dawson and Jeffree Star Cosmetics. There’s a larger 18-pan palette with mattes, metallics and foils, plus a mini 9-pan palette with completely stand-alone shades (except one that overlaps with the larger palette). There’s also lipsticks, mirrors, and other merch in the collection; everything is currently sold, I believe.
Again, I just don’t need another shadow palette(s) in my life. Plus I have some misgivings about the creators themselves that stops me from getting excited for this launch. For the most part I *do* like Shane Dawson, but his habit of becoming “family” with all the subjects of his YouTube documentaries is very odd and a bit unprofessional to me. And I’ve said it before on here, I’m no longer a Jeffree Star fan nor a customer of his company. I’d rather not contribute to his wealth, thanks.

KKW FRAGRANCE DIAMONDS BY KOURTNEY, KIM & KHLOE
Source: Trendmood/Instagram
I saw this image rather quickly on Trendmood, and I immediately thought to myself, “Whatever they’re selling, I’m not buying!” You know when you’re just so sick of seeing certain faces on social media?? Ah, the Kardashians. Isn’t there another reality TV family out there who can usurp their power and influence already?? But I guess as long as they keep bringing out products, people will buy them. Also, what the heck did Khloe do to her face here?? She doesn’t even look like herself.
If you are interested in actually knowing what this image is for – KKW Fragrance is bringing out three new Diamond scents (one per sister) on Nov. 8th. But honestly it could be anything – fragrance, palettes, lipsticks, moisturizer – and I probably wouldn’t be interested in it. I’ve just never found myself drawn to much of anything they’ve put their name on yet.

MILANI LUXE BRUSH HOLIDAY SET
Source: Milani/Instagram
I do love me some Milani! I think they have some of the best products at the drugstore (albeit a bit pricey). These holiday brushes look beautiful, and if I was just starting out in makeup I’d probably be tempted to snatch them up. But I’m pretty set with the brushes that I have, so this wouldn’t be a practical purchase for me.
I’m not sure if this is limited edition or not, but it contains 10 brushes for foundation, eyes, highlighter, powder, concealer, everything. Plus it’s packaged in a faux leather brush roll. So I think this would make an amazing gift for someone who is in the market for brushes.

FOURTH RAY BEAUTY EXTENDED HYALURONIC ACID RANGE
Source: Trendmood/Instagram
I have to admit I was very intrigued by Fourth Ray Beauty when it initially launched. But that fascination sadly didn’t last long for me. If you’re not familiar, Fourth Ray is a sister brand to ColourPop so they follow the same business model. Yup, new launches every five seconds! It bothers me enough with makeup, but with skincare it seems twice as bad. I don’t think skincare should be a gimmick. It should be thoughtful and considered at the very least. Fourth Ray feels like skincare made solely for Instagram. So when I saw that they were expanding their Hyaluronic Acid range with a new tonic, mask and tools, I just yawned. Don’t care.
What’s on your beauty anti-wishlist this month? I’d love to know!
xo, Erica
