Lisa Eldridge’s True Velvet Lipsticks are back with new shades!

It is with great excitement that I tell you that everyone’s favorite MUA and utter beauty goddess, Lisa Eldridge, has added 6 new shades to her immensely popular True Velvet Lipstick Collection! Lisa Eldridge’s new Summer Collection is here!

Here’s a bit of quick backstory for you. In 2018 the True Velvets initially debuted with three red lipsticks that sold out in a flash. Earlier this summer Lisa curated a small summer collection featuring 4 pink lipsticks. Again, instant sell-out. You see the pattern here, I’m sure. Now we have 6 new True Velvet shades in the nude/berry/cocoa family to fawn over! All have that faux velvet effect on the outside of the lipstick bullet that mimics the real texture of fabric for ultimate luxuriousness.

So here’s the deets on this new drop. All lipstick shades are available for preorder now, with the exception of Velvet Muse, Velvet Beauty and Velvet Myth, which have already sold out. This includes a restock on the original red shades, as well as 3 of the 4 summer pink shades as well. Everything is available individually, or in 4 pre-made trio kits that come in a limited edition velvet pouch. Lisa just released a full video today on her YouTube talking all about the new shades and applying them on herself. I highly recommend giving it a watch.

While I’ve admired the gorgeousness of the True Velvets in the past, I never really connected with any of the previous shades. So I saved my pennies waiting for just the right one to splurge on, and I think I’ve found it. I preordered Velvet Muse today, and I cannot wait to get my hands on it! Will of course post a full review after I’ve had time to play with it so stay tuned for that.
