All throughout November I’m sharing my drugstore beauty favorites with you. Think of it as my affordable beauty edit! If you’ve missed any of the earlier posts in the series I’ve linked them down below for you. In today’s installment I’m talking about bases – the best drugstore foundations, concealers & powder, to be exact.
Now some of these products have been long-held loves of mine, while others have just come into the fold this year. Admittedly this is not a very big list because I do have some difficulty in buying bases from the drugstore. But there are some really good recommendations here regardless!
I’m not including any long-winded explanations as to why each product is amazing; we’d be here wayyyy too long for that. But I have included some succinct talking points that should give you an idea of what makes each product stand out from the crowd. I’ll link any relevant reviews that I’ve written along the way in case you do want more info on something.
Just so you’re aware, my skin type is dry so all of these recs will be geared more towards dry to normal skin. However a lot of these bases also have formulas for oily or combo skin as well.
