Hi friends!
If you’ve been a long-time reader on here you’ll know that I absolutely adore cream blushes. I love the feel as they blend across my skin, and I love the natural but radiant finish they impart. They’re a dry skin’s savior if you want to wear color on your cheeks, if you ask me! So in celebration of my undying love for them, I thought I’d take you on a tour today of my current cream blush collection.
I’ll also be ranking them for you from my least used to my most used; I think it may be helpful especially if you were interested in potentially grabbing one of these for your own collection. But don’t misunderstand, I really like all of them!
So let’s get started!
6. KIKO MILANO VELVET TOUCH CREAMY STICK BLUSH
You know how much I love makeup in stick format! This is a beautiful peachy, apricot color with golden shimmer flecks (the shade is Golden Peach to be precise). It blends beautifully across the skin and has pretty decent staying power (at least on me). If you’re not familiar with Kiko Milano, they are an Italian brand with really good quality yet affordable cosmetics. Ulta just started carrying some of their products online either this year or last.
It’s a shame I don’t reach for this one as much as I should. Perhaps it’s the golden shimmer. Sometimes I’m just not in the mood for that. But regardless the texture is really lovely, and every time I do go to use it, I love it.
5. ORGANIC SKIN CO CHEEKY LIPS
You may remember Cheeky Lips from the review I did on my custom Organic Skin Co palette. This is a very emollient, highly pigmented cheek and lip product that really sticks around a long time on the skin. Like over 10 or 11 hours – truly impressive! I have the shade Velvet, which gives a really natural flushed look on my skin when it’s sheered out.
Again I don’t reach for this as much as I should. Actually the more I use it, the more I realize how good it is! If you only wear natural and/vegan makeup, or are looking to transition into more natural products, this would be a great option for cream blush.
4. GLOSSIER CLOUD PAINT
I’ve talked about this beauty a lot on here, so I won’t stay here long. (Check out this comparison post with Flower Beauty for more info.) But the Glossier Cloud Paint is sooo lovely, and I think a great option if you’re looking for a more gel-like consistency in your cream blush. They blend seamlessly and have a great staying power on the skin. Dusk is a gorgeous peachy-brown that sheers out very nicely, but still delivers on pigmentation.
However I’ve found myself using it a bit less than I was a few months ago – more info on why to follow. But I still have big, big love for it.
SWATCHES OF MY CREAM BLUSH COLLECTION

From top to bottom: Clinique Chubby Contour Stick in Curvy Contour – Flower Beauty Blush Bomb in Cinnamon – Glossier Cloud Paint in Dusk – RMS Beauty lip2cheek in Spell – Kiko Milano Velvet Touch Creamy Blush Stick in Golden Peach – Clinique Chubby Stick Cheek Colour Balm in Amp’d Up Apple – Organic Skin Co Cheeky Lips in Velvet.
3. CLINIQUE CHUBBY STICK CHEEK COLOUR BALM MIXED WITH CLINIQUE CHUBBY CONTOUR STICK
I’m being a little sneaky here, I realize, since one of these products is actually a contour stick. However, recently I’ve been loving the mix of these two together for a beautiful warm rosy-brown hue all over the cheeks. I mix roughly equal parts of the Clinique Chubby Stick Cheek Colour Balm in Amp’d Up Apple (review here), and the Clinique Chubby Contour Stick in Curvy Contour (review here) together and stipple it where I would normally apply blush. Gorgeous and effortless! The textures blend like a dream and give off a subtle radiance.
2. FLOWER BEAUTY BLUSH BOMB
Again, I’ve talked about the Blush Bomb a lot on here – check out that comparison post with the Glossier Cloud Paints that I did. In short, this is almost identical to the Cloud Paints in application, texture and wear so there’s really no need to have both in your collection. If you’re deliberating between both I’d say pop into an Ulta and go for the Blush Bomb; you’ll save a few bucks plus shipping.
I do find myself using this product a bit more than the Cloud Paint lately as I’m more into the tone of the shade Cinnamon at the moment.
1. RMS BEAUTY LIP2CHEEK
Perhaps this won’t come as a surprise, but my current most used / most favorite product in my cream blush collection has to be the lip2cheek from all-natural brand RMS Beauty. Check out the review I did for more detailed info.
Everything from the application, to the texture, to the color (I have shade Spell – a neutral rose) and especially the finish are gorgeous to me. It’s so incredibly radiant that I find I don’t need an additional highlighter. Plus the hydration it gives to my skin is just amazing. Can’t recommend it enough frankly!
What’s currently in your cream blush collection? I’d love to know!
xo, Erica
PIN IT!
I love the Cloud Paint container and the color of the Kiki Milano Velvet Touch creamy stick blush. I just love anything that squeezes out for makeup. 🙂
You’re saying you like a good squeeze then? 😉😆 Me too!
I guess I am! HAHA!!!
You have a gorgeous collection of cream blushes! The kiko blush stick is definitely something that I would look into, it looks nice & easy to apply. And of course the Cloud Paints too!
Thank you! I love a good stick blush – so incredibly easy.
Ah it’s too bad I’m not into cream blushes. But I believe I’ve said before that I may not have found the right one lol. I’d love to have either the Glossier or the Flower Beauty one. I still* need to look into Flower Beauty once I’ve made a dent in my makeup stash lol
Both of those are awesome choices, but if I were you just go for the Flower Beauty one cause it’s easier to get and cheaper.
I’m down for dupes and less inexpensive products 😀
Me too!
I surprisingly don’t have any cream blushes! I would love to try #6, 5, & 4 the most!
Creams are definitely my preferred texture in makeup! Just love the natural effect they give to the skin. I would definitely recommend pretty much any that are on this list. It just depends what your personal preferences are!
I have def been more interested in trying creamy makeup since following your blog! 🙂
Glad I’ve inspired you! 😉
