Now some of these products have been long-held loves of mine, while others have just come into the fold this year. This list is a real bumper so sit tight, I’ve got lots of great recommendations for you guys!
I’m not including any long-winded explanations as to why each product is amazing; we’d be here wayyyy too long for that. But I have included some succinct talking points that should give you an idea of what makes each product stand out from the crowd. I’ve never tried a lip crayon before. I’m more of a tinted lip gloss kinda gal. After reading thus, though I’ll have to give one a try. The price is cheap, too! Another plus! 😀
You can’t go wrong! I’m not really into lip glosses very much, so I’m sorry I had no recommendations for you in this list! I think I have three in my collections but most aren’t drugstore so I couldn’t include them here.
I haven’t tried most of these except the SMLC’s and they also happen to be my favorite.
The WnW Catsuits were not my favorite as most of them applied a bit streaky and uneven. I had to apply several layers to get a good swatch and it didn’t look very good lol. They swatched better than they wore.
I’ll look into the control freak brow product next once I’m done with my essence lash and brow primer 🙂

Thanks babe! I wonder if you tried the darker colors in the WnW Catsuit? I have Rebel Rose and it’s not streaky at all, at least on me. The NYX Control Freak is so good, I just wish the brush were a little smaller.
I tried one dark shade and one lighter one, they both applied streaky unfortunately which really bummed me out 🙁 oh well, no two products work the same for different people. They still make other great products too and I’m glad they worked well for you 🙂
Oops, I think I missed this comment somehow! Yea, that’s true everyone has a different experience for sure. That’s why all reviews have to be taken with a grain of salt, as they say!
Ooo, I may have to pick up one of those NYX Cannabis brow gels. I’ve been meaning to start taming my brows somehow lol.
It’s a solid brow gel, and for the price you really can’t go wrong. The cannabis oil is supposed to condition the brow hairs, I believe. Not sure if that really works – CBD has become so “trendy” to include in products these days! I see it making a difference in skincare for sure, but not sure about brows!
I have noticed CBD/hemp becoming such a huge trend lately. That’s good to know you’ve seen a difference with your skin using it! I do wonder if it would do anything for my brows now!
I think CBD for brows is just marketing, honestly. I haven’t noticed any difference in the condition of my brow hairs since using it. Buy it cause it’s a good little brow gel that’s inexpensive, not because it has CBD. Anyway that’s my opinion!
