Hi friends!
I’m so excited to bring you this review today of the Maybelline Fit Me Blush. My brother recently gifted this to me as a little lockdown treat in the shade Nude (he knows my makeup obsession very well!), but to be honest I wasn’t really expecting much from it. Sure, I thought I would like it well enough (the drugstore knows how to do blushes very well after all). The color I have looked a bit meh in the pan, but let me tell you, I have fallen very hard and fast in love with this little powder blush! I tend to wear it several days a week now, and not just on my cheeks but also as an eyeshadow.
So let me explain to you why I love it so much in this deep-dive review. Let’s get started!
WHAT IS THE MAYBELLINE FIT ME BLUSH?
- Available in 10 shades
Fit Me® Blush is a lightweight powder that delivers natural all-day color. This blendable and natural yet noticeable blush wears evenly and enhances skin tone with a radiant glow.
Long lasting blush ideal for dark skin, pale skin, and every tone in between. Dermatologist tested. Allergy tested. Non-comedogenic.
MY THOUGHTS ON PACKAGING
Absolutely nothing to see here. It’s just a very lightweight, blah, cheap plastic component. No mirror, but it has a see-through front panel so you can see the color when you’re shopping. I hardly ever buy makeup for its packaging, and even less so at the drugstore. I don’t expect much, so I’m not gonna knock it much.

MY THOUGHTS ON APPLICATION
This is where things start to get good! Unlike some drugstore blushes (I’m looking at you Wet n’ Wild and CoverGirl), the Maybelline Fit Me Blush is not overly powdery; meaning it doesn’t get absolutely everywhere when you dip your brush in. This also means that the powder is pressed slightly harder so you get light layers of product on your brush, not a crap-ton of pigment that you have to then flick off. I absolutely adore powder blushes like this, the ones that build up slowly so you have complete control over the application.
Needless to say, the application here is smooth and flawless. I use my IT Cosmetics Must-Have Multi Powder Brush (pictured throughout this post) and the combination of the two is awesome! (I believe you can only get this brush in a set, but use any large fluffy brush you have.) No patchiness, no skipping, even over freshly applied foundation. Perfection!

MY THOUGHTS ON COLOR / PIGMENTATION
As I mentioned earlier, I have the shade Nude which is a very soft, neutral-to-cool pink with a beautiful satin finish. There is a definite subtle glow in this blush, so you can get away with not wearing highlighter if you really wanted to. I’d go so far as to say there’s even a touch of light plum in this shade, and you really see that if you wear it as an eyeshadow. Even though at first I thought the color looked a bit boring, just wait until you apply it. Totally gorgeous! And the pigmentation is definitely there as well, but it doesn’t bash you over the head with it. As I mentioned previously, it builds up very nicely on the skin.

MY THOUGHTS ON WEAR
I was also surprised at the amazing staying power of this blush. We all know that blush is usually the first makeup product to fade on any skin type. But I’d say the Maybelline Fit Me Blush lasts on me a good 8-9 hours before it starts to fade. Do keep in mind though that I have a dry skin type that tends to hang onto makeup quite well, so this could definitely vary on you.
When I’ve worn it on my eyes, the pigmentation lasts until I take my makeup off at the end of the day. It also has never creased on my eyes (I do always wear a primer underneath).
RATING: 5 / 5 ⭐️
MY THOUGHTS ON PRICE
This little gem retails for a mere $5.99 but you can always get deals and discounts on drugstore beauty products depending on where you shop. Absolute steal if you ask me! Who would argue with a price this affordable when the quality is top-notch?!

FINAL THOUGHTS
If you’re in the market for a new blush, look no further than this one. It’s so lovely, so blendable, so cheap and it lasts all day. I don’t know what else you could really ask for! This has definitely moved its way up to my top tier of blush favorites.
Have you tried the Maybelline Fit Me Blush before? What is your favorite drugstore blush? I’d love to know!
xo, and be well, Erica
PIN IT!
I love buildable blushes too but I remember hearing not so great reviews about these blushes, I’m going to have to give it a go
I don’t think I read any review of these blushes before, but I can tell you this shade is absolutely gorgeous. Plus I think the formula is great. I hate when blushes are overly powdery and you have to be super careful applying them.
Totally agree!
I love the sheen to this blush! Satin blushes or blushes with a bit of shimmer are my absolute favourite. I’m 100% on team drugstore for blushes, especially when you can get ones like this that actually last most of the day.
Great review!
Thank you! Oh I love a good sheeny blush too, and this one definitely gives some radiance to the skin. I would 100% recommend picking it up if you’re in the market. Drugstore blushes are lovely, but they do need to pick up their game when it comes to non-powder blushes; a lot of cheaper cream formulas just aren’t very good and tend to stick to the skin and not blend.
I really love the elf baked blushes, they have a really beautiful sheen too. My first blush purchase was actually one of those and I still wear it!
I haven’t tried much from the drugstore cream blush range though, it’s too bad they aren’t very good.
Never tried Elf baked blushes before, but I’m not surprised they’re quality. Elf is generally such an amazing brand!
This is gorgeous, I can see why you love it! Often the unassuming colours are the best for blush, they go with a bunch of different looks. I find blush lasts pretty well on me being dry skinned too 😛
I agree, it’s usually those “boring” colors that blow you away the most!
It’s a beautiful color and at that price it’s a steal!! And a plus that it’s not too powdery. I hate blush that’s super powdery because I end up getting it everywhere. Usually it’s on my clothes when I’m in a hurry.
Me too, I feel you lose so much of the product that way too!
whoa it looks gorgeous! you are right about drugstore blushes being very powdery, that’s very annoying lol
i also love buildable bushes, that way i can control it more depending on how i’m feeling that day 🙂
thanks for sharing 🙂
This is an amazing color, lemme tell you. I was kinda bored at first but then I applied it and was kinda blown away!
i love those blushes that look boring but in actuality are amazing 🙂
Ah, me too! I love anything that surprises me (in a good way of course!).
