Hi friends!
I’m so excited to bring you today’s batch of mini reviews! Minori Beauty is a new and exciting conscious beauty brand that just launched a few weeks ago. I’ve been following their journey since early 2021 after connecting with the founder & CEO Anastasia Bezrukova, who is a former IPSY alum and a current (certified) Marie Kondo Consultant. Yup, you read that right! The whole line is about minimalism, getting back to the basics and focusing on those foundational pieces in your makeup collection.
Anastasia and her team very kindly gifted me the entire Minori range, which consists of lip glosses (4 shades), cream blushes (2 shades), and cream highlighters (2 shades). I’ve been testing everything out for the past couple of weeks, and I’m ready to give you all my thoughts and opinions. Let’s get started!

MINORI LIP GLOSS

In today’s post I’m reviewing Minori Beauty, a new conscious beauty brand that focuses on minimalism and sustainability. Here are their Lip Glosses, available in four shades.

The new Lip Gloss from Minori Beauty is gorgeously cushiony without being sticky. The whole range from top to bottom: Cozy (warm beige nude), Blossom (warm mid-tone pink), Juneberry (cool mauve-berry), and Dream (clear).
I wanted to create shades that I knew would look amazing on everyone and would make people want to wear lip gloss again. You can’t go wrong with any of the shades because they look so natural. My favorite thing about these glosses is how buttery and non-sticky they feel on my lips – Founder & CEO Anastasia Bezrukova.

You may or may not know that I’m not the biggest lip gloss devotee. In fact, years ago I loathed them, but I’ve been warming up to them again in the past few years as more and more amazing formulations have come out. (I actually wrote a whole post about my lip gloss journey, complete with recommendations.) I’m happy to report that the Minori Lip Gloss is one of these formulations. It may even be the stand-out of this whole collection for me, which is really saying something. I’m just so, so impressed with it!
If you read Anastasia’s quote above, I pretty much agree with everything she’s saying here. The formula is super cushiony without feeling too thick, gloopy or sticky. It feels very much like a lip treatment rather than a gloss, forming a barrier between the air and your lips, keeping moisture in. Best of all – and this was always my main gripe with glosses – I’ve never experienced those awful white lines that can form between your lips. Major score points! In terms of staying power, after one good meal this will be gone, so touch-up’s are necessary throughout the day.
There are four shades currently available, and they’re all super natural with a sheer-to-light level of pigment and a barely-there sparkle (with the exception of the clear formula, of course). Don’t expect lots of va-va-voom here; that’s not the brand ethos at all. But if you’re looking for the most punchy when it comes to color, go with Juneberry. It’s a slightly cooler mauve and by far the deepest out of the four shades, but still don’t expect tons of depth here. You certainly don’t need all four shades of this gloss considering how light the pigmentation is.
The Minori Lip Gloss retails for $22.00, and you can shop the range here or here.
MINORI CREAM BLUSH

In today’s post I’m reviewing Minori Beauty, a new conscious beauty brand that focuses on minimalism and sustainability. Here are their Cream Blushes in Orchid (top), and Scarlet (bottom).

The new Cream Blush from Minori Beauty is a lightweight cream-to-powder formula that’s a cinch to apply and blend. The whole range from top to bottom: Scarlet (warm pink-red), and Orchid (neutral/cool mauve).
Blush is my desert island makeup product! I wear it on my eyes, lips and cheeks for a monochrome look all the time. It takes 60 seconds to make me look super put together and has saved me before all my quarantine zoom calls! I obsessed over giving this blush the perfect cream-to-powder texture, so that you can comfortably wear it over your foundation. It’s not sticky at all, and survives New York City or California heat – Founder & CEO Anastasia Bezrukova.

While I may not be a die-hard lip gloss girl, I’m pretty obsessed with cream blushes, so when Anastasia told me that her line would include cream blush I was a happy girl! The Minori Cream Blush formula is truly a formula for everyone. I can see this working on so many different skin types because it has a very lightweight, non-sticky, cream-to-powder formula. If you have oily or combo skin, I don’t think this will exaggerate your pores or any oiliness you may have on your cheeks; if you’re normal-to-drier like me, it’s creamy enough to apply and wear throughout the day without appearing dry or causing tightness on the skin.
I’ve applied this formula with both my fingers and a brush. It works like a dream either way, although I always prefer using the warmth of my fingers to blend creams into the skin. It’s extremely buildable in pigmentation, with a natural-looking finish on the cheeks. I wouldn’t say it’s my longest-lasting cream blush though. I have noticed fading throughout the day – around the 5-hour mark – but I have been testing it against some pretty intense NY summer heat!
There are two shades currently available, and while they’re both lovely on my fair skin, I’d say Orchid is probably my favorite. I love how the undertone is a mix of both neutral and cool.
The Minori Cream Blush retails for $32.00, and you can shop the range here and here.
MINORI CREAM HIGHLIGHTER

In today’s post I’m reviewing Minori Beauty, a new conscious beauty brand focused on minimalism and sustainability. Here are their Cream Highlighters in Golden (top) and Champagne (bottom).

The Cream Highlighter from Minori Beauty has a similar texture to their Cream Blush: creamy to the touch, easy to blend, and very lightweight. The whole range from top to bottom: Golden, and Champagne.
I love highlighter, but I was never a fan of seeing glitter or intense shimmer on my skin. I purposefully made this highlighter super delicate so that you can build it up, or go for a very natural glow. Like our blush, it’s also a cream-to-powder formula, which is great because it’s not sticky and you can easily wear it as an eyeshadow if you want to – Founder & CEO Anastasia Bezrukova.

Like Anastasia mentions above, the Minori Cream Highlighter has the same lightweight, cream-to-powder texture as their Cream Blush. So again, it can work on many different skin types. It’s super easy to apply and blend with a finger or brush, and the finish is a subtle, soft sheen. It’s buildable but only to a point, I’d say. Don’t buy this thinking you’re going to get a ton of shine and glow. Like everything else with this line, this is for those who want a very natural-looking shine.
There are two shades currently available, in a warmer golden tone and a cooler champagne tone. Considering how light and subtle these are, I think I prefer both pretty equally in this case. The wear is also really good on this formula, better than the Cream Blush in fact. You can easily pop one of these on the eyelids for a quick glowy moment, but the formula will crease and fade much quicker than if applied to the cheeks.
The Minori Cream Highlighter retails for $32.00, and you can shop the range here and here.
FINAL THOUGHTS

In today’s post I’m reviewing Minori Beauty, a new conscious beauty brand. Here I’m wearing their Cream Highlighter in the shade Golden on my eyes and my cheekbones; their Cream Blush in the shades Scarlet and Orchid mixed together on my cheeks; and their Lip Gloss in the shade Dream on my lips.
Overall, I’m very impressed with Minori Beauty so far. These are thoughtfully-crafted makeup products that give a very natural effect on the skin. If you’re into a more no-makeup-makeup look, you’ll love this brand. If you’re into a more glam look, this will likely not completely satisfy you. I didn’t mention earlier, but for what it’s worth the packaging on this whole line is lovely. Everything is very sturdy with pleasing soft-touch effect caps (think NARS). If you’re looking to pick up just one product from Minori, I’d say go for the Lip Gloss. The formula is beautiful and nourishing (with a soft fruity scent!), and the natural shades would flatter anyone.
Will you pick anything up from Minori Beauty? If so, what will you get? I’d love to know!
xo, and we be well, Erica
