Hi friends!
It’s the first day of May, so I’m shifting the focus now to another of my absolute favorite beauty brands. Last month I did a feature on MAC, and now I’m introducing this month’s Brand Spotlight on Clinique! I’ve talked about my love for a lot of Clinique products on here before, so I couldn’t resist giving them a little moment in the sun.

So just as with last month’s Brand Spotlight I will post three articles every Wednesday, but this time with a Clinique focus. Each will highlight either a tried-and-true favorite product, or conversely a newer one that has been added to my collection.

It’s very rare that I can say that I love both a brand’s skincare & makeup items, but in this case I can. Clinique skincare is a hallmark in the industry and for good reason. They target a huge swath of skin concerns from acne and anti-aging, to sun protection and oil control. Their products are 100% fragrance free and well-suited to sensitive skin types. I always trust my skin to Clinique; I’ve never reacted or broken out as a result of using their products.
Check out their main webpage if you want to see what some of their bestselling skincare products are. I’ve talked about my love for their Moisture Surge range in a previous post on my current skincare routine, which is linked below. I’ve now got my eye on the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ as my next skincare purchase from them!

Conversely, I feel like Clinique’s makeup doesn’t get a lot of attention or hype in the beauty community when it should. Perhaps this is a consequence of having such a comprehensive skincare range, but I’m not sure. Regardless, it’s a real shame because their makeup is great quality and their colors are so soft and wearable. You all know I have a thing for stick makeup, and Clinique has that area covered very thoroughly, from lipstick, to foundation, contour, and highlight. I believe they actually started the whole lipstick-as-a-crayon trend when they released the Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Coloured Balms ages ago.

So I hope you will all enjoy this month’s Brand Spotlight on Clinique! Let me know what your favorite Clinique product is in the comments below!

I think the only Clinique product I’ve tried was a moisturizer. I remember loving the way it felt on my skin and the way my skin felt all day. 🙂
They’ve got great skincare, and I really want to branch out from the Moisture Surge range and try more!
I used to always buy Clinique and then the store I bought it at closed. I just never bought it again. Thanks for the reminder.
Oh that’s a shame! I’m a bit addicted to Clinique, and there are certain products from them that I can’t imagine not having in my collection like the Bottom Lash Mascara and the Moisture Surge cream. So good!
Hey that is one of my favorite brands. Before I discovered “IT” I was using this brand. It’s so awesome. I get it a bit more expensive but honestly worth it. The foundation last for so long. Great job Erica as usual. I agree that Clinique make up doesn’t get that much attention in the beauty industry. I am glad you start this series.
So glad you’re excited for the series! I actually haven’t tried any Clinique base products before, which is crazy. But one day I’m sure I will!
What do you think to the contour stick? Is it more warm or cool toned? Also, how heavy does it feel on the skin?
I will have a post up this Wednesday just on the Chubby Contour Stick, so stay tuned! (I would say it’s more warm-toned though but keep in mind I have very pale, cool-toned skin.)
I have not tried the moisture surge range yet but I love Clinique skincare (and their lipglosses, lol!)
For dry skin it’s one of the best!
Clinique is a number 1 brand in my opinion. Quality cosmetics that are hypoallergenic, so I feel I can always trust them.
Exactly! Me too ❤️.
I am so excited for this, Erika! I’ve gad some misses with Clinique but even more hits. So curious to see which products you’ll feature. 😄
Stay tuned! 😉
