MY THOUGHTS ON PACKAGING

I really like the packaging on this product. It doesn’t feel inexpensive to me at all. It’s sleek & compact, and it contains a very nice mirror inside. It’s also very lightweight, so perfect to throw in your bag or travel bag.

MY THOUGHTS ON APPLICATION

If you’re an experienced eyeshadow-wearer, you’ll know that mattes can be very tricky to apply and blend. Personally I’ve used both luxury and drugstore matte shadows that can be sadly choppy and patchy, so you never really know what kind of experience you’re going to get. However, these Milanimatte shadows are very impressive. They apply fairly easily, and blend out with little effort. I experienced a little choppiness with some of the Playtimeshadows, but nothing too offensive at all.

I will say though that it’s always beneficial to work in small increments with mattes. Use a small amount of product on your brush at a time, and slowly blend out. The effect will be gorgeous!
