Hi friends!
I could say so many amazing things about CeraVe skincare. I’ll try to condense it down to just this: they are an amazing, no-nonsense dermatologist-led brand with products that are gentle, yet efficacious, and affordable. If you have a skincare concern, chances are CeraVe has a targeted product for you. They are especially good for those of us who suffer from eczema, as all their products are approved by the National Eczema Association.
I’ve long been “fan-girling” over this brand on here (some earlier related posts are linked below), so when I recently started testing some new bits from them in my skincare routine, I knew I had to update you guys. So in today’s post I’m giving you two CeraVe mini skincare reviews – the first on their Eye Repair Cream, and second on their PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion.
Before diving in you should know that my main skin concerns are largely dryness, dehydration and dullness. I do have a history with eczema flare-up’s as well. All the skincare products I ever buy or test are specifically to address these issues.
Let’s get into the reviews!

The last eczema flare-up I had this spring was very likely due to an irritating eye cream, so now I’m very, very careful with what I use on that area. Enter the CeraVe Eye Repair Cream! This is a thick, non-greasy little eye cream that really packs a punch in terms of hydration and smoothing qualities. It comes in a small plastic tube with a thin nozzle, so you really can only squeeze out very small amounts at a time. That’s exactly what you want because a little goes a long way with this cream; there’s no need to overdo it! I squeeze out three small dots under each eye, and then very gently rub and pat it in. This is also enough product to take up onto the eyelid as well. (I take my eye creams all over my eyes.)
In short, I love this cream and would absolutely continue to purchase it. It just gets the job done right. The product blends in effortlessly, and my skin feels really hydrated and smooth. If you’re someone who suffers with dry under-eyes or even flakey eyelids (I do!), this will be great for you.
Depending on where you shop, you can pick it up for around $10.00 at a Walmart, Target, or Amazon. (for 0.5 oz.). A drop in the bucket if you ask me!

INGREDIENTS
Aqua / Water / Eau, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Niacinamide, Cetearyl Alcohol, Potassium Phosphate, Ceramide Np, Ceramide Ap, Ceramide Eop, Carbomer, Dimethicone, Ceteareth-20, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Cholesterol, Phenoxyethanol, Disodium Edta, Dipotassium Phosphate, Caprylyl Glycol, Phytosphingosine, Xanthan Gum, Polyglyceryl-3 Diisostearate, Ethylhexylglycerin
I’ve been a longtime, hard-core fan of the CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion but I’ve always been curious to try some of their other facial lotions. I picked up the PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion since I apply the bulk of my skincare at night before bed. (They also do an AM version of this that contains SPF.) Technically, this is formulated for a more normal-to-oily skin type and I can see why. It has a very lightweight texture – almost aerated – but it’s incredibly moisturizing at the same time. (Think Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb.) I usually take anywhere between 1.5 to 2 pumps for my entire face and neck, after my serum but before my oil. It blends in in a flash, and leaves the skin feeling hydrated but not overly tacky or sticky. For us dry skin folks this is a great summertime option if you don’t want anything too heavy, even at night.
I would say that the Daily Moisturizing Lotion is just a tad bit heavier and creamier than the PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion. I don’t know if I necessarily need both in my life, so out of the two I’d probably go with the Daily Moisturizing Lotion for my skin type. I don’t regret trying the PM and I certainly enjoy using it, but I think the Daily is just a bit better for me in the long-run.
Depending on where you shop, you pick this up for around $12.00/$13.00 at a Target or Amazon (for 3 fl. oz.).

What are your favorite products from CeraVe, or another drugstore skincare brand? I’d love to know!
xo, and be well, Erica
PIN IT!
The eye cream sounds amazing! I need to give it a go when mine runs out
It’s a really solid eye cream that gets the job done and certainly isn’t too pricey. The best combo!
I don’t like to splurge on eye cream, I need to check if I can get it on Amazon. I know I can get CeraVe in some farmacies here so it shouldn’t be that big of an hustle ahah
That’s great if you can get your hands on it! I’ve definitely bought more expensive eye creams in the past, but with my skin they’re definitely not worth it. I will stick with CeraVe!
Very cool that you’ve tried more products from a brand you love. The eye cream sounds really good too!
Would and will 100% repurchase the eye cream! Just really basic but so, so hydrating and non-offensive.
